The Kalaniketan Shishukunj UK wanted to donate some books to a worthy cause. After consultations with Sewa Kenya Nbi School Feeding Team, & Jamhuri High School, a basic list of Reference Books was formulated. Once all formalities were completed the books were purchased and presented to the School Management & Board. The Chairperson Dr.Lonah Mumelo(HSC) together with other board members and the principal Awuor J.O. Fred with students received over 500 Text Books. The books covered a variety of subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Geography & History, etc. Dr Mumelo said “I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of the school community to most sincerely thank you for the opportunity extended to the school and hope they shall be useful. Mr Harish Shah of Shishukunj UK presented the books to Headmaster Mr Owuor. Also present at the event were Sewa Kenya SFP Team of Mr Manshukhlal Shah & Mr Babu Shah.
